Happy times! A perfect blend of beats, breakdowns and pianoloops has made this track one of my faves. This one is from '92 and was a huge anthem back in the day!

Nino - Revelation

The B-side of of a great boombastic release from Production House. This is very much a record to listen to at home although great beats. It has several different breakdowns which aren't exactly made for a dancefloor. Still a masterpiece in it's genre.

SL2 - Changing trax

Massive breakbeat tune from SL2 aka Slipmatt & Lime.
This is the B-side to the infamous "On a ragga tip".

Art Of Noise - Instruments Of Darkness (Prodigy Remix)

"All of  Us Are One People and Liam Howlett is a golden god!"

This is one of the most energetic breakbeat-techno releases. 4/4 but still with a sense of funk and groove compared to a lot of the "made in 2 secs"-releases from '91-'92. Great stuff!

Manix - I Can't Stand It

Marc Mac is one half of 4 Hero and under the pseudonym Manix he made a bunch of piano/hardcore tunes on Reinforced. This one has a sample from the 80s classic Captain Rapp "Bad Times". Together with the blissful piano on the track it takes you back to sweet memories of the early 90s.   

Shut up and Dance - Derek went mad

Fucking amazing track. from this Hackney duo. The video which occasionally was played on MTVs Party  Zone is also genious. Listening to this and watching the video gives me chills as it did 20yrs ago hearing it for the first time. 

Boogie Times Tribe - My Soul

Fab track from D'Cruze and Q Bass, the guys behind the name Boogie Times Tribe.
Dark and urban vibes very similar to Goldie's Inner City Life - which is another great track from the same era. This on is a bit mory hypnotic and less commercial though.

Inner City - Let It Reign (Altern 8 Know The Score Mix)

FAT! This is so so fat. Love them hoovers on this track.
Makes you wanna dance. Inner city's original version ain't bad at all but this mix is just off the hook!

A Sides - String Trips

This is wistful and somewhat dark breaktrack from the String Trips EP.
This is a track I just have had on an old tape but luckely i found  this 12" on ebay a couple years ago. Enjoy!

One of my all-time favourite trax from back in the day.
Beautiful chord progression and a a good driving beat.
